The Hall

The Group is fortunate to have its own premises which are well used not only for our own activities but also for a variety of other youth and community groups and clubs, including the Footloose Dance School, Rutherglen Model Railway Club and South Lanarkshire Council’s Universal Connections youth support program.

The two-storey building has activity space on each level, with a stage in the upper hall, as well as storage and meeting rooms.

Originally built in the 1920s, with a major extension being carried out in the 1950s, the Group are aware of the need for refurbishment to bring the hall up to modern standards. To this end, much of the proceeds of our fundraising, bag packing and grant applications in recent years has been applied to improvements to our accommodation, including the installation of double glazing and central heating.
